Having a baby is an exciting and life-changing experience. Each pregnancy carries a different level of risk. Our pregnancy care options offer support for women with normal-risk, high-risk and very high-risk pregnancies. Please choose the type of pregnancy care that suits you best, in partnership with your general practitioner (GP), midwife or doctor.
Everybody’s circumstances are unique and it is important that your care is planned in a way that suits you and your personal situation.
We offer the following pregnancy care options at Mercy Hospital for Women:
- obstetric care
- shared maternity care
- maternity group practice
- midwives clinic
- team maternity care
- perinatal medicine care*
- private obstetric care
*Please note, for very complicated pregnancies, we can provide midwifery support alongside your specialist obstetric care.
We also offer parent education classes at Mercy Hospital for Women.
It is important to discuss with your GP and family which care option is best for you. You can also discuss your options with us during your first visit. Otherwise, you can email us to arrange a phone call at [email protected].
