Every pregnancy is different and every woman has unique circumstances. As a result, you may need to access different services during your pregnancy, visits and birth at Mercy Hospital for Women.

Your pregnancy care

During your pregnancy care, your healthcare provider can offer you the following services when needed:

Come in to the hospital for assessment if you:

  • are concerned about your baby’s movements
  • have any vaginal bleeding
  • ­break your waters
  • ­think you are in labour
  • ­become unwell or experience new symptoms that you are worried about.

You can come in to our emergency department at any time. If you ­think you are in labour, phone our labour ward for advice on (03) 8458 4058.
