Mercy Health has established key partnerships with numerous tertiary institutions in order to provide you with the best curriculum to meet the clinical needs of our patients. Mercy Health provides opportunities for nursing staff to complete postgraduate courses in the following specialty areas:

These courses provide an opportunity to develop specialty practice while building on highly sought-after clinical knowledge. As a postgraduate student you will be mentored by skilled clinical educators and encouraged to develop a comprehensive theoretical knowledge base within a supportive and friendly learning environment.

Extensive clinical support is available through course coordinators, clinical educators, preceptorship programs, mentors and peers.

Get started

Positions for postgraduate student positions are advertised during September in the year prior to the planned study.

Students are required to apply directly to Mercy Health for a temporary employment contract as well as to the appropriate university for enrolment in the specific course. The employment contract generally starts in early February of the year of study, unless via a midyear intake which would be July.
