What to do before
To book your place in a workshop, please call reception on 8416 7600.
You do not need a referral to attend these workshops.
Before the session, please think about any issues you may be having with your baby or toddler. Write down a list of questions you may have and bring it to the workshop.
What to bring
Please bring these items to each workshop:
- a notebook
- water
- snacks for you and food for your child.
What to expect on the day
Each workshop lasts for two hours.

These sessions are delivered by our Early Childhood Team.
What questions should you ask
During the workshop we will discuss sleep and settling, feeding, maternal wellbeing and general parenting. You will have the chance to ask any questions during this time.
Who to call if you have concerns afterwards
For support after the workshop, please contact a maternal and child health nurse, a doctor or your GP.
For health professionals
Our Parenting Education Workshops provide information and support for families in two-hour sessions. At each workshop, we provide advice on sleep and settling, feeding, maternal wellbeing and general parenting.
Procedural information
A professional referral is not required for this service.
