Overview

The Community Care Unit is located on Synnot street in Werribee. The multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals provide continuing mental health treatment to residents. The team provide in-house rehabilitation and recovery programs, as well as facilitating access for residents to other support services.

Referral is through the Mercy Mental Health Triage service 1300 657 259.

The length of stay within the Community Care Unit is dependent on the individual care and recovery plan. Individual care and recovery programs are developed in consultation with the person referred to the program.
