Overview
At Mercy Hospital for Women the Speech Pathologist works closely with the multidisciplinary care team within the neonatal intensive care unit and special care nursery to assist babies with feeding and swallowing disorders.
The service includes comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Education and support is provided to families and carers to maximise the feeding and swallowing outcomes for their baby.
