What to bring
Please bring your Medicare card to your appointment. We bulk bill all paediatric echocardiography services.
What to expect on the day
A heart ultrasound may take up to 15 minutes. If visiting us as an out-patient, please allow up to 30 minutes for your appointment.

Paediatric echocardiographer
For health professionals
A paediatric echocardiographer provides ultrasound scans on hearts for infants, preschool and school-aged children. This is both an in-patient and out-patient service.
Procedural information
Patients above 50kg cannot be scanned/imaged accurately and should be referred to an adult echocardiography service.
