What to do before
Chemotherapy is a treatment, so patients are usually referred in to this clinic after significant consultation and discussion with a team of doctors and health specialists. In these consultations, you will have an opportunity to discuss how to best prepare for chemotherapy, and receive access to additional supports that suit your personal circumstance.

Patients with suspected or proven gynaecological cancer should initially be seen in the Gynaecological Oncology Department for consultation and multidisciplinary team discussion before referral to chemotherapy.
