Overview

Mercy Care Centre Young provides a range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services to people of all ages across Young and the Hilltops region.

Our Multidisciplinary team provides person centred assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and support to promote health, functional independence, participation and quality of life.

Services include:

  • Inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation including rehabilitation following illness, injury, surgery or hospitalisation
  • Physiotherapy including adult and paediatric physiotherapy individual therapy and groups such as Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab and Falls Prevention
  • Occupational Therapy including adult, paediatric, home assessments and hand therapy
  • Speech pathology and Social Work intervention and support for adults
  • Geriatric evaluation and management
  • Community Nursing in-clinic and home-based care
  • Palliative care Inpatient and home-based care
  • Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP)
  • Pastoral Care

Our staff will work with you to achieve your personal goals. We also work closely with external services as required. We are a public sub-acute healthcare service that is affiliated with the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

Our bright and friendly facility includes a fully furnished gym, a spacious recreational room, outpatient consulting rooms, a private palliative lounge room and a beautiful chapel.

Mercy Care Centre Young is a purpose-built facility that accommodates disability access.

There is plenty of parking available on site.

For those with a permit, there are two accessible car parking spaces available near the main entrance.

Mercy Care Centre Young is open daily from 9am–5pm.

After hours access

If accessing the centre after hours, please use the intercom at the main entrance.

General visiting hours

Mercy Care Centre Young does not have designated visiting hours. If you wish to visit, please confirm the best time with your family member or friend in order to limit any interruptions to their therapy timetable.

Please check the COVID-19 website alert regularly for any changes to visiting hours or restrictions.
