- support you emotionally and spiritually in times of challenge or crisis
- explore with you your sense of purpose or meaning
- celebrate life’s joys with you
- assist and support you in times of loss and grief
- make connections when you feel lonely or isolated
- discuss your thoughts when making important decisions
- support you with religious/spiritual practice, including prayer and ritual
- make contact for you with a priest, minister of religion or faith representative
- engage in conversations as you prepare for end of life.
