Overview

Mercy Care Centre Young is a public healthcare service that provides a range of inpatient, outpatient, community health and aged care services for the people of Young and surrounding areas.

We specialise in:

  • rehabilitation after a hospital stay
  • caring for people who are terminally ill and their families
  • the evaluation and management of older people.

Our staff and specialists will work with you to achieve your personal goals. We also work closely with external services as required. We are a third schedule public hospital affiliated with the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

Our bright and friendly hospital includes a fully furnished gym, a spacious recreational room, outpatient consulting rooms, a private palliative lounge room and a beautiful chapel.

We specialise in geriatric evaluation and management, rehabilitation and palliative care.

Mercy Care Centre Young offers:

  • visiting rehabilitation and geriatric specialist assessment
  • nursing
  • physiotherapy
  • occupational therapy
  • social work
  • speech pathology
  • diversional therapy
  • pastoral care
  • gentle exercise groups.

We aim to meet each person’s assessed needs and we include patient-focused care planning. We work closely with external services to help achieve our patients’ and clients’ goals. We are a third schedule public hospital affiliated with the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

Mercy Care Centre Young is a purpose-built facility that accommodates disability access.

Parking availability

There is plenty of parking available on site.

For those with a permit, there are two accessible car parking spaces available near the main entrance.
