Burnside Prevention and Recovery Care is a residential service providing short term recovery support and treatment for people receiving mental health care.
Located in Deer Park, the Prevention and Recovery Care Service is a program run in partnership with CoHealth to support people and prevent the worsening of their illness and the need for hospital admission. It also supports people leaving a mental health hospital unit and assists them to return to community living.
Residents stay within the service between two to four weeks.
Referral to the Prevention and Recovery Care Service is through your treating mental health clinician via Mercy Mental Health Triage service Ph: 1300 657 259.
